Huawei has made the FreeBuds Lite available in the Philippines. Announced during the launch of the new Huawei’s P30 series, the company’s newest true wireless in-ear earphones designed to go against the likes of Apple’s AirPods 2 and Samsung’s Galaxy Buds.

Huawei FreeBuds Lite key specs and features
Huawei FreeBuds Lite features an AirPods-inspired outer shell but with an in-ear design for a higher degree of noise isolation instead of an earbuds type look.
Huawei is also claiming that you’ll get up to three hours of use on a single charge (up to 12 hours with the charging case), and up to 10 days standby time.
These FreeBuds comes with four sets of earbuds in different size of ears to chose from including silicone earplugs. It uses ENC environment noise reduction and 4-microphone calling technology to ensure that most noisy noises are filtered during calls.
You can do almost anything while wearing them, run, sleep, shake do whatever you want. In addition, Sweating has no effect on it because these wireless headsets are IP54 waterproof and sweatproof.
I personally like Huawei’s case which has the same sort of feel as to what Apple’s buds has. It also closes with a satisfying click and opens with a simple push of the thumb.
Huawei FreeBuds Lite also has infrared sensors that automatically detect when you have both earbuds in your ears. It will automatically stop when you remove either the left or right earpiece. Both earbuds also come with touch features: the left earbud activates Google Assistant, while the right earbud controls music playback.
It also comes with a tap to control functions, double tap left to activate voice assistant, double tap right play and pause music, and double tap either side to answer or end a call.

To best fit different people’s ears, FreeBuds Lite provides 4 sizes (L, M, S, XS) of liquid silicone ear tips and a pair of breathable ear tips, they are made of Lightweight, ultra-soft and skin-friendly liquid silicone which brings extremely comfortable feeling. HUAWEI FreeBuds Lite adopts ergonomic in-ear design, compact & light body stay fit and stable inside your ears no matter how crazy active you get.
The FreeBuds Lite is priced at Php 4,990 and is available at all Huawei Concept Stores nationwide.
Not bad for a true wireless earphones with dual drivers.
