Canon Marketing Philippines, in collaboration with Kanlungan sa Er-Ma Ministry, Inc. (KSEM), recently organized a Kyosei CSR Day in Malate, Manila. KSEM is a non-profit organization dedicated to protecting and empowering vulnerable children. Its mission to serve, protect, and develop children aligns closely with Canon’s Kyosei philosophy, which emphasizes collaboration for the common good and fostering stronger communities.

Bringing Joy Through Creativity
The initiative engaged 70 children from KSEM and 30 Canon employee volunteers in a day filled with nourishment, creativity, and shared experiences. A key highlight was the “Draw Your Big Smile” activity, which encouraged children to express their happiest moments through art. Canon volunteers guided the children, offering support and encouragement throughout the creative process.
The artworks were showcased on the Wall of Big Smiles, providing a colorful display of each child’s expression. A photo booth captured every child proudly posing with their drawings, and each participant received a printed photo keepsake to remember their Big Smile moment.
Uplifting Lives with Canon’s Kyosei Philosophy
“At Canon, we believe progress means uplifting lives and creating lasting impact. Partnering with Kanlungan sa Er-Ma allows us to support children in need of special protection by not only providing nourishment, but also sparking joy and hope for brighter futures,” said Anuj Aggarwal, President & CEO of Canon Marketing Philippines.
Canon’s Kyosei CSR Day highlights the company’s dedication to initiatives that create tangible benefits for communities. By combining volunteer engagement with child-focused activities, Canon demonstrates its commitment to social responsibility and the well-being of vulnerable groups.
Part of Canon’s 2025 Community Programs
The event is part of Canon Marketing Philippines’ broader 2025 community initiatives. These programs include coastal cleanups, tree planting, and youth-oriented activities. Each initiative reflects Canon’s continued effort to embody the Kyosei principle and fulfill its mission of “Delighting You Always.”
Through these programs, Canon integrates employee volunteerism with impactful community work, ensuring that corporate social responsibility delivers both immediate joy and long-term benefits for participants.

Enhancing Community Impact Through Corporate Engagement
The collaboration between Canon and KSEM demonstrates a model of corporate social responsibility that prioritizes meaningful engagement over one-time donations. By involving employees directly in activities that nurture and inspire children, Canon amplifies the effect of its CSR programs, creating lasting memories and fostering community development.
This initiative also reinforces the importance of creative expression and emotional well-being in child development. Activities like “Draw Your Big Smile” not only provide entertainment, but also encourage children to reflect on positive experiences, boosting confidence and emotional resilience.
Canon Marketing Philippines continues to integrate Kyosei into its corporate culture. The 2025 initiatives are designed to ensure that volunteer efforts, community projects, and environmental activities collectively enhance social impact, demonstrating a holistic approach to corporate responsibility.
The partnership with KSEM highlights the potential of joint initiatives between corporations and non-profits to create meaningful change. By combining resources, expertise, and volunteer support, Canon and KSEM foster an environment where vulnerable children receive care, protection, and opportunities for personal growth.
The Kyosei CSR Day exemplifies Canon’s commitment to empowering communities, uplifting lives, and creating experiences that leave a lasting impression on participants. Through art, nourishment, and shared joy, Canon continues to bring its Kyosei philosophy to life in practical, measurable ways.
