The event allowed creators to test out these cameras and discover which ones best suited their needs, ensuring they had the right tools for producing high-quality content.

Experiential Zones to Ignite Creativity

A major highlight of the Creator Fest was the experiential zones, designed to inspire and ignite creativity. These five zones gave participants hands-on opportunities to work with Sony cameras while learning from industry experts. The zones highlighted different aspects of content creation, emphasizing Sony’s philosophy of “Kando.”

1. Gastro Experience with Erwan Heussaff and Abi Marquez

Food styling and photography took center stage with Erwan Heussaff and Abi Marquez leading a session at Barbara’s Heritage Restaurant. Participants learned how to enhance texture, color, and cultural context through creative plating and lighting techniques.

2. Lifestyle Fashion Shoot with Janina Manipol and Marco Gallo

This session allowed participants to explore editorial fashion photography, blending colonial and modern styles. With professional lighting provided by Aputure PH, creators captured the beauty of outdoor scenes, focusing on natural light, angles, and textures. The session taught them how to highlight fashion details while using background blur and other techniques to enhance their shots.

3. Beauty and Lifestyle with Jaz Reyes

This session emphasized blending products seamlessly into lifestyle photography, making the visuals both appealing and authentic.

4. Travel Content Creation with Anjohn Sorza

Anjohn Sorza, known for his travel photography, collaborated with Herschel to teach participants how to create visually striking travel content. Using the ZV-E10 II, A6700, and A7CII cameras, creators explored ways to incorporate architectural elements, natural light, and human subjects to bring historical locations like Intramuros to life in their photos.

5. Lifestyle Bar and Action Photography with Jessica Lee

Jessica Lee led a dynamic session on action photography during a live cocktail flaring performance by Hikaru. Participants used creative lighting and techniques to freeze motion and capture the drama of bartending tricks, learning how to emphasize movement, energy, and shine in their shots.
