Epson Announces Call for Entries for the 17th Epson International Pano Awards 2026

Epson has announced the call for entries for the 17th Epson International Pano Awards, recognized as the world’s largest competition dedicated to the art of panoramic photography. The competition continues to highlight excellence in panoramic visual storytelling and is supported through a long-standing partnership with The Pano Awards as a major sponsor. Epson Southeast Asia continues its role in championing panoramic photographers across the region and globally through this initiative.

Entries for the 2026 Epson International Pano Awards are now open. Early-bird submissions will be accepted until 22 June 2026, while final entries must be submitted by 13 July 2026. The competition welcomes both professional and amateur photographers from around the world. All participants are required to submit images in a panoramic format with a minimum aspect ratio of 2:1 in either landscape or portrait orientation.

2026 Awards Debut Aerial Category and More than US$50,000 in Prizes

This year’s edition introduces a new Aerial category in both the Open and Amateur competitions. The addition reflects the increasing influence of drone technology and aerial imaging in panoramic photography. Alongside this new category, the 17th Epson International Pano Awards continues to feature Nature and Landscape, Built Environment and Architecture, and VR/360 divisions. These categories provide photographers with multiple opportunities to demonstrate technical skill and visual storytelling.

The 2026 competition offers a total prize pool valued at more than US$50,000. This includes US$15,000 in cash prizes. The overall Open winner will receive a prize package valued at more than US$11,000 in cash and products. The competition continues to be positioned as one of the most significant global platforms for panoramic photography recognition.

Since its inception in 2010, The Epson International Pano Awards has grown into a landmark global event for panoramic photographers. In 2025, the competition received over 3,000 entries from 95 countries, reflecting its strong international reach. Participation from Asia, particularly Southeast Asia, has continued to grow steadily in recent years, highlighting the increasing depth of talent in the region.

“I’m always delighted when I can officially announce that professional and amateur photographers around the world are now invited to enter the next Epson International Pano Awards. I can also announce that there is a new Aerial category in the Open and Amateur competitions, if you enter five or more images at once during the early bird period you save 20% and you’ll also be in the running to win the $1000 curator’s award,” says David Evans, The Epson International Pano Awards’ Curator.

The judging panel for the 2026 Epson International Pano Awards includes internationally recognized photographers and industry professionals. The panel features Bill Bailey, Aaron Spence, Dan Zafra, Jacky Lee, Daniel Kordan, Abe Blair, Annette Mossbacher, and Jennifer Renwick, among others. Their expertise ensures that entries are evaluated based on technical excellence, creativity, and visual storytelling within panoramic photography.
