What’s your Bayo story? It could be a piece passed down from an older sister, the top worn to a first job interview, or the one that gave confidence on a difficult day. It could also be the familiar scent when stepping into a store, the in-store team that remembers your size, or the feeling of discovering something that fits perfectly. These stories are small but meaningful reminders of how clothing connects to life’s moments.
For more than 30 years, Bayo has dressed generations of women. The brand has been present not only through style, but also through clothing that brings comfort and confidence during milestones, ordinary days, and everything in between. Families have shared pieces, friends have created memories around outfits, and many women have carried Bayo with them through transitions in their personal and professional journeys.
That’s Bayo was launched not just as a campaign, but as a reminder of what the brand has always stood for. It represents a promise to continue creating pieces with care and intention. The campaign reflects everything that customers have loved about the brand through the years, while reaffirming its vision to keep innovating for future generations. It is both a celebration of history and a commitment to progress.
Featuring Aya Fernandez
Bayo has built its identity around looking closer, asking questions, and finding thoughtful ways to improve. This approach influences how the brand designs, chooses materials, builds its stores, and connects with the people who wear its creations. By noticing the small details, Bayo has created experiences that feel personal and meaningful.

As part of That’s Bayo, the brand introduced Aya Fernandez, a social enterprise founder and CEO, whose work began with the same curiosity that defines Bayo’s philosophy. Aya asked what could be done with something as simple as discarded coconut shells. From that idea, she developed Eco-Uling, a sustainable charcoal alternative that reduces waste and creates livelihood opportunities for communities.
What started as a research project grew into a social enterprise with real impact. For Aya, curiosity led to action, and action created change. Her story highlights how meaningful work often begins with ordinary things and the willingness to see them differently. Instead of searching far for solutions, she found potential in materials already around her and chose to act on that idea.
That belief also defines That’s Bayo. It is about noticing more, asking better questions, and remaining open to what is possible. Both Aya and Bayo share the principle that progress does not always require grand plans. Often, it is about paying attention to what is already present and making choices that create better outcomes.
Bayo x Aya Launch Event
The collaboration was unveiled during the Bayo x Aya launch on August 19, 2025, at Vestido in Makati City. The collection featured pieces inspired by Aya’s Eco-Uling journey. Designs included earthy tones, natural textures, and prints drawn from her story, with details such as buttons made from coconut shells. Even the event’s setup reflected the collaboration’s values, with fixtures crafted using Eco-Uling charcoal and boards made from production offcuts. This attention to detail extended the story of sustainability beyond the clothes and into the entire experience of the launch.

A key highlight of the program was the symbolic pinning of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) pin on Aya Fernandez. This gesture recognized her role not only as Bayo’s newest ambassador but also as a partner in championing shared values of sustainability, creativity, and purpose. The pin served as a visible reminder of how individual work connects with global goals.
The event also showcased charcoal illustrations of Aya created by artist Katrina Garcia. These artworks were completed live during the campaign photoshoot using Eco-Uling charcoal that the artist personally processed for sketching. The finished pieces were then presented at the launch, emphasizing the collaboration’s dedication to sustainable innovation and creative expression. Each artwork represented the merging of material, story, and artistry into something lasting.
Crafted by Curiosity, Made with Purpose
Bayo’s collaboration with Aya Fernandez highlights the brand’s continued commitment to purpose-driven fashion. The campaign celebrates stories of curiosity transformed into meaningful impact and translates them into designs that customers can wear with ease. It is a reminder that fashion can be thoughtful and that clothing can carry not only style, but also values.
Crafted by curiosity. Made with purpose. Worn with ease. That’s Bayo.
