Automating Loan Records with Canon Thereforeā¢
The second phase will automate AFPSLAIās loan records through Canonās Therefore⢠Document Management System. Canon Business Services is set to digitize approximately 15 million pages within six months. This process will establish a centralized, secure, and easily retrievable database of loan records. The new system aims to streamline workflows, reduce manual tasks, and enhance efficiency in loan processing.
By automating records, AFPSLAI expects to improve accessibility for staff and members. The digital repository will also help safeguard sensitive loan information with advanced security measures, minimizing the risk of data breaches and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Supporting Compliance with DIGICUR
The project directly supports compliance with the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinasā Digitization of Customer Records (DIGICUR) requirements. DIGICUR outlines standards for recordkeeping and customer data management in financial institutions.
