Catwalk Philippines, the nation’s leading modeling competition, is making a triumphant return in 2025 for its highly anticipated fourth edition. This year’s event is set to be its biggest and most successful run yet. Now produced and organized by FirstSun Production, with Michaela as its major presenter, Catwalk Philippines 2025 promises to raise the bar for modeling competitions in the country.

FirstSun Production, known for delivering innovative solutions in brand campaigns, digital marketing, corporate branding, and events, is taking the reins for this year’s production. The agency’s full-service capabilities aim to elevate the competition’s production value and provide young aspiring models with a more professional platform.

Carrying the Legacy of Filipino Fashion Excellence

Founded by the Designers Circle Philippines (DCP), Catwalk Philippines was created with a clear mission: to discover, develop, and launch the careers of professional male and female supermodels in fashion, pageantry, and media. The competition’s first three editions took place in 2018, 2019, and 2022, each showcasing a growing roster of talented individuals.

“We want CATWALK PHILIPPINES to become the most credible and influential modeling competition,” shared Johnny Abad, DCP Founding Chairman and Overall Chair. “The Designers Circle Philippines is committed to make it the most dynamic venue for Filipino fashion creativity and excellence.”

This year’s edition is among several exciting initiatives under the new DCP administration, now led by its newly elected officers: President Rafael Gonzalez, Vice President for Internal Affairs Edwin Uy, Vice President for External Affairs Laura Santos, and Creatives & Communications Head Alfonso Emmanuel.

A Powerful Collaboration with FirstSun Production

To bring the fourth edition to life, DCP has partnered with FirstSun Production, under the artistic leadership of Rodel De Jesus Mercado.

“I believe in the objective and the vision of the Designers Circle Philippines,” said Director Rodel Mercado. “With over two decades of experience in events management and theater production, I want to elevate the standard and maintain the integrity of modeling and pageantry in the country. I applaud DCP’s commitment to make CATWALK PHILIPPINES the stepping stone for aspiring models to shape their professional careers.”

Redux: Vintage Reimagined — A Nostalgic Fashion Spectacle

This year’s theme, “Redux: Vintage Reimagined,” draws creative inspiration from the 1920s, 1930s, and 1940s. The competition will highlight designs that echo the glamour of the Gatsby-flapper era, the elegance of Art Deco, and the allure of Old Hollywood pin-up aesthetics. These inspirations will be showcased across multiple runway segments: resort wear, streetwear, luxe wear, and haute couture.

Participating designers for this edition include: Bepz Torres, Jasper Adorador, Darlene Acuna, Alistair Balane, Ganda Anore, Sony Boy Mindo (Swimwear Designer), Joy Aguilar Aaliwin, Cliff D, Santa Emmanuelle, Maila Alog, Geoffrey Guinto, Joemel Calma, Jehrick Dela Roca, Niño Ramirez, Mikaelah Mikhai, and student designers from the Fashion Institute of the Philippines – Sta. Rosa Laguna, headed by Marjorie Lee-Gumabay and Bernard Escalona.
