Benoit Gauthier, Regional Manager of Decathlon Philippines, explains the strategy behind the new store concept: “This store opens in one of the most attractive places for Filipinos’ needs. Decathlon is a brand known around the world with the purpose of making sports accessible to all—and with the ever-evolving omni consumer, it is key for us to adapt and evolve with them.” The new store is a part of Decathlon’s drive to stay close to its customers, with over 70 different sports represented in its product range.
The “connected store” concept allows Decathlon to stay relevant in the digital age. This model combines the best of both physical and online shopping experiences, making it easier for customers to shop and access products. “Our concept of a connected store allows us to take the initiative and be present in crucial areas.
