The DS-1760WN also features an intuitive 2.4-inch LCD touchscreen and PC-less operation, providing a reliable solution for streamlined digital document management.

Their compact design supports flexible media handling, accommodating mixed-size and long documents through the ADF, and enabling the scanning of photos, ID cards, and booklets through the flatbed.
Both models feature one-pass duplex scanning to save time, text enhancement for improved clarity, document edge correction, and punch hole removal for cleaner digital files. The continuous scanning function allows users to combine documents scanned from the ADF and flatbed into one file, boosting flexibility and productivity.
The scanners are also equipped with image sensor glass dirt detection, alerting users to any dirt on the scanning surface to avoid poor image quality and reduce re-scans. They can detect and crop multiple items of varying sizes in a single scan, further improving workflow efficiency.

Epson’s Document Capture Pro software enables automation of scanning workflows with up to 30 customizable scan jobs. Users can convert scans into searchable PDFs or editable Office documents using built-in optical character recognition (OCR) and send files directly to cloud storage services, email, or network folders.
Additional features include advanced job separation, barcode recognition, and Machine Readable Zone (MRZ) recognition, along with flexible file naming and sorting capabilities.
The DS-1760WN expands on these capabilities with ScanWay, which allows PC-less operation. Users can scan directly to network folders, USB drives, cloud storage, or email from the scanner’s control panel without the need for a computer.
