foodpanda Philippines delivery platform provided over PHP 62 million in support incentives for its Ka-panda delivery partners from March to May 2026 through nationwide add-on incentive quests. The initiative was designed to strengthen rider earnings while allowing delivery partners to continue their regular delivery operations on the platform.
The program was implemented through add-on incentive quests available to riders across Metro Manila and provincial areas. These quests were integrated into normal delivery activity, allowing riders to earn additional payouts by completing their regular orders without requiring extra tasks beyond standard platform activity.
Ka-panda Motorcycle Quest Drives Rider Engagement
A key feature of the initiative was the Ka-panda Motorcycle Quest, which allowed riders to unlock additional earnings by completing delivery milestones throughout the day. The mechanics were designed to be simple, requiring only a target number of completed orders within a set timeframe.
This structure ensured that riders could participate without disrupting their daily schedules, making the program accessible to a wide range of delivery partners.
foodpanda Philippines reported strong participation, with around 95 percent of active riders joining and completing the quests. This high engagement reflects the effectiveness of the incentive structure and its alignment with rider workflows across different regions.
According to Ron Sanders, the initiative reflects the company’s continued commitment to supporting riders through flexible earning opportunities.
“Since rolling out these add-on incentive quests in March, we’ve seen how these initiatives can help support our riders’ day-to-day operations while providing more flexible earning opportunities on the platform,” Sanders said.
He added that foodpanda Philippines continues to implement weekly quest programs that allow riders to earn additional rewards by completing delivery targets within set periods while meeting platform requirements such as attendance and acceptance rate compliance.
Riders Highlight Financial Support from Incentives
Ka-panda delivery partner Hervie Agustin shared that the additional incentives provided meaningful assistance for daily expenses, particularly fuel and household needs.
“Malaking tulong para sa amin na may dagdag incentives kasi may pandagdag sa pang-gas at pang-araw-araw na gastos. Kahit simpleng extra income lang, malaking bagay na rin iyon para sa pamilya,” Agustin shared.
The incentive system allowed riders to earn additional income while maintaining their usual delivery routines, making the program both practical and accessible as a source of supplemental earnings.
Double-Tipping Campaign and Panda-Malasakit Project
Beyond the Ka-panda Motorcycle Quest, foodpanda Philippines implemented additional rider support initiatives aimed at expanding earning opportunities across the platform.
During its nationwide Double-Tipping campaign on Labor Day, customers contributed over PHP 1.2 million in in-app tips for Ka-panda riders. foodpanda Philippines delivery platform matched these contributions peso-for-peso, resulting in a total payout of ₱2.4 million for delivery partners.
These initiatives are part of the broader Panda-Malasakit Project, which brings together multiple programs designed to support riders, customers, and partners through structured earning opportunities and platform-wide engagement efforts.
