Manulife Philippines, the local arm of leading international financial services provider Manulife, has completed its three-part Run and Recover series with running collective Just Show Up, reinforcing the core message of its Time to MOVE campaign: that better health begins with small, intentional steps that can lead to lasting healthy habits.
The wellness initiative highlights how simple, consistent actions can help people build healthier lifestyles over time. Through community-based experiences focused on movement, recovery, and reflection, the Run and Recover series encouraged participants to develop sustainable habits that support long-term well-being.
The series was designed in response to findings from Manulife’s own research. The #FYP: Future-Proofing Young Pinoys study in 2025 found that while 83% of young respondents have good knowledge about health and wellness, only 76% say they are taking sufficient action to consistently practice healthy habits. Among the respondents in the survey, 42% reported they had insufficient exercise.
These findings demonstrate the gap between understanding the importance of healthy living and consistently putting those practices into action. Through the Time to MOVE campaign, Manulife Philippines aims to help bridge that gap by making wellness more accessible through practical and community-driven activities.

Three Experiences That Encouraged Healthier Living
Across the first half of 2026, the Run and Recover series gathered a community of runners and fitness enthusiasts for three connected mornings, with each experience highlighting a different aspect of long-term wellness.
The Kick-Off Experience opened the series in Rockwell, Makati, and set its founding premise that lasting health begins with the simple act of showing up. By combining an accessible community run with an energetic morning social, the event created a welcoming entry point for participants starting their wellness journey.
The Contrast Experience built on that momentum by widening the definition of wellness. Held at Longevity Labs in Bonifacio Global City, it paired a community run with sauna-and-ice-plunge recovery, highlighting the role of intentional recovery in making healthy routines more sustainable over time.
The Reset Experience brought the series to a meaningful close by focusing on restoration and reflection. Through a guided sound bath, a wellness talk, and café socials, the event reinforced the importance of balance in supporting long-term well-being and longevity.

Together, the three experiences reflected Manulife Philippines’ belief that healthy living is built through consistent actions. By combining movement, recovery, and reflection, the series encouraged participants to create habits that can support wellness over the long term.

Manulife Philippines Reinforces the Time to MOVE Campaign
“The Run and Recover event reflects what Time to MOVE is all about: enabling Filipinos to take small, meaningful steps toward living better for longer,” said Rahul Hora, President and Chief Executive Officer, Manulife Philippines. “Our research shows that many Filipinos value preventive care and healthier habits, but everyday demands can make it difficult to turn intention into action. Through movement, recovery, reflection, and the power of community, we designed Run and Recover to give people a simple, welcoming way to show up for their health and build habits that support long-term well-being and longevity.”
The Run and Recover series builds on ManulifeMOVE, the company’s holistic health program, while supporting the broader work of the Manulife Longevity Institute in advancing insights and solutions that help people live longer, healthier, and more financially secure lives.
The Manulife Longevity Institute brings together research, insights, and partnerships to help address the factors that shape longevity and well-being. Through programs such as Run and Recover and the Time to MOVE campaign, Manulife Philippines continues to encourage individuals to take practical steps toward healthier lifestyles by making movement, recovery, and wellness part of everyday routines.
By creating experiences that combine physical activity, intentional recovery, and opportunities for reflection, the company reinforces the value of consistency in building healthy habits. The three-part Run and Recover series serves as an example of how small, meaningful actions can contribute to long-term health and well-being while strengthening connections within the community.
