Our meal started with their Mezze served with flat bread. The starter set includes Hummus, Sauteed Chicken Liver with Garlic, Boquerones, and Sauteed Chorizo in Garlic.

The Taza Salad is another dish worth mentioning. It is made with quinoa, cherry tomatoes, wild arugula, farm-fresh romaine, microgreens, Cebu dried mangoes, radish, and beets, all dressed with an a la minute citrus-tarragon vinaigrette.

Even for someone who is not particularly fond of vegetables, this salad stood out. The vegetables tasted fresh, and the combination of ingredients created a balanced and vibrant dish. The Taza Salad is another food item we highly recommend trying when visiting Taza Fresh Table at Taal Vista Hotel.

Tomahawk Pork Chop: A Must-Try Main Dish

The Tomahawk Pork Chop has always been a favorite at Taza Fresh Table. It is served with caramelized onions and bananas, salsa verde, and pork jus.

This dish truly stole the spotlight during our visit. The pork was tender and flavorful. The caramelized onions and bananas added a subtle sweetness that complemented the savory elements of the dish. Combined with the salsa verde and pork jus, the flavors came together beautifully. Among all the main dishes we tried at Taza Fresh Table in Tagaytay, this is one of the top recommendations.

Taza Specials: Oxtail Pappardelle Ripiene and Chicken Wellington

We also explored two of their Taza Specials.

The Oxtail Pappardelle Ripiene features stuffed pasta with homemade ricotta and braised oxtail, finished with tomato puree. The dish was rich and comforting. The braised oxtail added depth and heartiness, making it a satisfying pasta option at Taza Fresh Table.

To end the meal, we tried two desserts.

The Molten Chocolate Cake is made with Alfonso tablea chocolate and served with patoqueso de bola ice cream. This dessert is ideal for chocolate lovers. It is rich, indulgent, and satisfying.

Our personal favorite dessert was the Olive Oil Gelato served with Don Papa rum glazed Tagaytay pineapple. The gelato was smooth and balanced, while the glazed pineapple added a sweet and slightly tangy element. It was a refreshing way to end the meal at Taza Fresh Table.
