As modern living rooms transform into personal movie theatres, gaming hubs, and family entertainment spaces, choosing a new smart TV involves more than finding the largest display within a budget. Picture quality, sound performance, gaming capabilities, and smart connectivity have become important considerations when selecting a television for everyday entertainment.
Xiaomi announces the launch of the Xiaomi TV S Mini LED 2026 Series, a feature-packed smart TV lineup available in five screen sizes: 55-inch, 65-inch, 75-inch, 85-inch, and 98-inch. Designed to make flagship picture quality, immersive sound, and smart connectivity accessible to more households, the new series offers different screen sizes to accommodate various home entertainment needs and preferences.
Featuring Quantum Dot Mini LED technology, advanced gaming capabilities, Dolby audio technologies, and Google TV integration, the Xiaomi TV S Mini LED 2026 Series brings together several entertainment features in one television lineup.
Everyday Cinematic Brilliance
For households upgrading their living room or bedroom entertainment setup, the 55-inch, 65-inch, and 75-inch models of the Xiaomi TV S Mini LED 2026 Series deliver cinematic viewing experiences for everyday movies, television shows, and sports broadcasts.
Powered by Quantum Dot Mini LED (QD-Mini LED) technology, these televisions feature independently controlled local dimming zones that provide precise backlight control. The 55-inch model comes with 308 dimming zones, while the 65-inch model features 384 zones and the 75-inch version offers 512 zones. These configurations provide greater control over brightness across different areas of the display, supporting deeper blacks and improved contrast.
The series achieves black levels as low as 0.0001 nits and peak brightness of up to 1,200 nits, producing strong contrast between dark and bright scenes. Its color performance covers 94% of the DCI-P3 color gamut and supports more than 1.07 billion colors, bringing greater color depth and cinematic realism to on-screen content. HDR10+, HLG, and Filmmaker Mode further enhance the viewing experience, with Filmmaker Mode allowing viewers to experience movies as their directors envisioned.
Beyond movies and television programs, the 55-inch, 65-inch, and 75-inch models also support fast-moving entertainment and casual gaming. Their 4K displays feature 120Hz Game Boost mode, MEMC 4K 60Hz frame interpolation, and HDMI 2.1 Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM). These technologies help reduce motion blur and latency during fast-action scenes and gameplay, providing smoother viewing and gaming performance.
Audio performance also contributes to the entertainment experience. Each model features dual 15W speakers supported by Dolby Audio™, DTS, and Xiaomi Sound processing. These audio technologies work together to create an expansive sound experience straight out of the box.
The televisions also feature an elegant Dark Gray finish and a screen-to-body ratio of up to 98%, allowing the displays to integrate into different home interiors. Google TV™, hands-free Google Assistant, and cross-platform casting through Google Cast and Apple AirPlay provide access to connected entertainment and personal media across compatible platforms.
The Ultimate Big-Screen and Gaming Powerhouse
For cinephiles, sports fans, and dedicated gamers looking for larger displays and advanced performance, the 85-inch and 98-inch variants of the Xiaomi TV S Mini LED 2026 Series offer a big-screen entertainment experience.
These two models feature high-density backlight arrays, with 640 local dimming zones on the 85-inch version and 880 zones on the 98-inch model. Their display technology delivers a dynamic contrast ratio of 12,000,000:1, alongside peak brightness of 1,200 nits and deep black levels of 0.0001 nits. These specifications support detailed visuals, rich contrast, and vibrant colors across high-definition movies, sports broadcasts, and gaming content.
Gaming performance receives particular attention in the larger models. The televisions support native 4K resolution at a 144Hz refresh rate, with Game Boost mode capable of increasing the refresh rate to 288Hz. Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) helps maintain smoother gameplay, while three HDMI 2.1 ports provide connectivity for compatible gaming devices and consoles. These features support fluid visuals and help reduce screen tearing, particularly during fast-paced and competitive games.
The visual experience is complemented by Dolby Vision® picture technology and Dolby Atmos® spatial audio. Together with the dual 15W speaker arrays, these technologies enhance picture and sound performance across movies, games, and other entertainment content.
The 85-inch and 98-inch models also feature upgraded processing and connectivity hardware. A flagship Quad Cortex A73 processor works alongside 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage to support fluid multitasking and rapid navigation. High-speed Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2 provide additional wireless connectivity options.
Viewer comfort also remains part of the television’s design. Xiaomi incorporates 20kHz ultra-high-frequency hybrid dimming and built-in low blue light algorithms into these larger models. These features are designed to support viewing comfort during extended movie marathons and gaming sessions.
The All-in-One Streaming Central in Your Living Room
Regardless of the selected screen size, the Xiaomi TV S Mini LED 2026 Series functions as a central entertainment and smart home hub. Through Google TV™, the lineup brings streaming services, smart device controls, and personal media together in one connected television experience.
The combination of Mini LED display technology, advanced picture capabilities, gaming features, immersive audio, and smart connectivity gives the series several entertainment options across its different screen sizes.
