Xiaomi today unveiled its latest flagship lineup, the Xiaomi 15T Series, which includes Xiaomi 15T and Xiaomi 15T Pro, at a global launch event in Munich, Germany. This launch marks an evolution of the Xiaomi T Series from flagship photography and cutting-edge technology built for modern trendsetters to advanced mobile technology, elevated imagery, and refined design.
Outstanding optics for next-level imaging
Xiaomi 15T Series introduces a professional-grade triple camera system co-engineered with Leica. Xiaomi 15T features a main, ultra-wide, and telephoto camera, while Xiaomi 15T Pro is equipped with a main, ultra-wide, and Leica 5x Pro telephoto camera. These systems are designed to deliver high-quality results in diverse scenarios. For flexible composition, Xiaomi 15T Pro covers focal lengths from 15mm to 230mm, and Xiaomi 15T spans 15mm to 92mm, giving users options for capturing wide landscapes or close-up details.
At the core of the series is a 50MP main camera with a Leica Summilux optical lens. The Xiaomi 15T offers an ƒ/1.7 aperture, while the Pro variant has an ƒ/1.62 aperture. Both versions capture vivid colors, high contrast, and fine detail, even in low light. The Xiaomi 15T Pro enhances performance further with a Light Fusion 900 image sensor that offers a 13.5 EV high dynamic range, improving clarity and tonal accuracy.
Xiaomi 15T Pro debuts the Leica 5x Pro telephoto camera in the T Series, offering 5x optical zoom, 10x optical-level zoom, and up to 20x Ultra Zoom. Both devices also integrate a 32MP front camera for selfies and video calls.
Supporting the hardware is Xiaomi AISP 2.0, the next-generation computational photography platform. With PortraitLM 2.0 and ColorLM 2.0, the system improves depth perception, tonal range, and color fidelity, creating lifelike photos with minimal editing. Master Portrait introduces new bokeh effects such as Wide and Bubbles, while allowing users to adjust aperture and focal length. Leica street photography mode enables instant capture from the lock screen and offers focal lengths of 28mm, 35mm, 50mm, 75mm, and 135mm on the Pro variant.
For video, both models support 4K 30fps HDR10+ recording across all lenses. Xiaomi 15T Pro adds 4K 120fps on the main camera for cinematic slow motion, and 4K 60fps 10-bit Log recording with LUT input for professional editing flexibility.
Breakthrough connectivity and Xiaomi HyperOS 3
Beyond imaging, the Xiaomi 15T Series introduces Xiaomi Astral Communication. This suite includes the debut of Xiaomi Offline Communication, which allows direct voice communication between Xiaomi 15T devices without cellular or Wi-Fi. Xiaomi 15T Pro supports up to 1.9km range, while Xiaomi 15T supports up to 1.3km. This is ideal for outdoor environments where traditional signals are unavailable.
The series also features the Xiaomi Surge T1S Tuner, which adapts GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and cellular signals. The Super Antenna Array and AI Smart Antenna Switching enhance connectivity for streaming, navigation, and gaming.
On the software side, Xiaomi 15T Series debuts Xiaomi HyperOS 3. It introduces enhanced multitasking, faster app launches, and redesigned elements including lock screens, wallpapers, icons, widgets, and notifications. Xiaomi HyperAI brings system-level intelligence, while device interconnectivity ensures seamless sharing and syncing of content.
Bigger, brighter, and immersive display
The Xiaomi 15T Series features a 6.83-inch display, the largest yet in the series, with 1.5K resolution and peak brightness of 3200 nits for visibility in bright environments.
Xiaomi 15T Pro enhances visuals with 1.5mm ultra-narrow bezels, 27% slimmer than the previous generation, for an edge-to-edge effect. It also offers a 144Hz refresh rate, DC dimming, and advanced eye care technology. Xiaomi 15T supports a 120Hz refresh rate and includes 3840Hz PWM dimming to reduce flicker during extended use.
Performance and battery power
Both models include a 5500mAh battery. Xiaomi 15T Pro supports 90W wired HyperCharge and 50W wireless charging, while Xiaomi 15T supports 67W wired charging. The battery retains up to 80% capacity after 1600 cycles and powers on in under four seconds when flat.
Xiaomi 15T Pro runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ chipset built on a 3nm process. Xiaomi 15T is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8400-Ultra. Both chipsets provide strong CPU and GPU performance. Thermal management is handled by the Xiaomi 3D IceLoop System, which improves heat dissipation and ensures comfort during extended sessions.
Premium design and durability
The Xiaomi 15T Series features a seamless glass fiber back and battery cover with a flat frame and rounded edges for a modern, comfortable grip. Durability is enhanced with Corning Gorilla Glass 7i for twice the scratch resistance, a glass fiber back, and IP68 water and dust resistance, withstanding depths of up to 3 meters.
