Marikina Town Center, Federal Land’s estate in Marikina, kicks off the Christmas season with two major additions that bring life and excitement to the community: a newly built football field constructed to FIFA standards and the launch of the Toyota Tamaraw Food Park. Both projects highlight Federal Land’s commitment to creating spaces that encourage recreation, connection, and enjoyment for families, food enthusiasts, and sports fans.
A Football Field for Play, Practice, and Community Fun
Sports enthusiasts now have a new venue in Marikina to play and gather. The 100×68-meter football field, built using FIFA standards, includes bleachers that can accommodate up to 250 spectators. The design supports various community activities, from casual matches and training sessions to local tournaments.

“With this new turf field, we hope to give Marikina a new space for sports and recreation and more importantly, a reason for people to come together as a community,” said Jose Mari Banzon, President of Federal Land.
This development reflects Federal Land’s goal of promoting a healthy, active lifestyle while providing residents and visitors a shared space for teamwork and leisure. Whether joining a game or simply enjoying a weekend with friends, the football field brings fresh energy to Marikina Town Center and strengthens the city’s reputation as a hub for active living.

A Food Park Full of Good Eats and Holiday Cheer
Just steps away from the new field is another reason to visit—Toyota Tamaraw Food Park, a collaboration between Federal Land and Toyota Motor Philippines. The food park features Tamaraw food truck conversions and a mix of local food options designed to celebrate community and Filipino culinary creativity.

“We’re excited to bring this unique food park experience to Marikina Town Center, supporting local entrepreneurs while sharing the joy of food and community,” said Masando Hashimoto, President of Toyota Motor Philippines.
Nine food trucks were unveiled during launch day, each offering different flavors and specialties. The lineup will rotate throughout the season, showcasing a diverse range of dishes and brands, including:
- Celebrity Chefs – Dishes by Karla Kusinera, Chef Sharwin Tee, and Chef Sai Montes, known for their elevated comfort food and crowd-pleasing recipes.
- Yahu! Kitchen – Filipino viands cooked home-style with bold flavors.
- Boynita – Local favorites prepared with familiar Filipino taste.

- Overflow Café – Coffee and café-style snacks for casual meetups.
- Kape Talyer – Crafted coffee and comfort food.

The Toyota Tamaraw Food Park is designed as a welcoming space for MSMEs and young entrepreneurs. Its concept will soon expand to other Federal Land communities, supporting small businesses while giving visitors more food and entertainment options.
More Holiday Fun with the NakakaLocal Food Fest
Adding to the festive spirit, Marikina Town Center also hosts the second run of the NakakaLocal Food Fest, a collaboration with PhilSTAR that highlights Marikina’s homegrown MSMEs and kitchens. From November 26 to 30, guests can enjoy a lineup of local merchants offering traditional favorites and modern creations, including:

More to Look Forward to in 2025
Federal Land’s long-term vision for Marikina Town Center continues beyond these holiday launches. The estate plays a key role in the company’s goal of developing vibrant, well-connected communities across the country. The new football field and Toyota Tamaraw Food Park mark the beginning of this renewed momentum.
The next phase of development includes the redevelopment of Blue Wave Mall and the adjacent Petron station, both scheduled for completion in the first half of 2026. The updated area will feature expanded sports and lifestyle facilities, such as basketball, badminton, and pickleball courts. Additional commercial and residential spaces are also in the pipeline, positioning Marikina Town Center as a prime destination for families, athletes, and leisure seekers.

A Glimpse of a Bigger Vision
These projects reflect Federal Land Communities’ broader plan to build ten master-planned estates nationwide. Each township aims to offer residents and visitors well-designed spaces where they can live comfortably, stay active, and enjoy meaningful experiences.
With a world-class football field, the Toyota Tamaraw Food Park, and the ongoing NakakaLocal Food Fest, Marikina Town Center stands as one of the most exciting places to visit this holiday season. It captures the energy of a growing community and the joy of coming together during Christmas. Visitors can look forward to more developments and experiences in the year ahead as Marikina Town Center continues to shape itself into a dynamic destination in the East.
