A Dream That Started With Acting
Before music became part of his path, Amiel originally dreamed of becoming an actor. He was fascinated by the idea of expressing emotions and bringing characters to life in a way that audiences could connect with.
“I first realized I wanted to become a performer because I was drawn to expressing emotions in a way people could feel,” he explains. “My dream at the beginning was simply to act and bring characters to life.”
As time passed, his interest in performing expanded beyond acting. Singing and performing in front of an audience gave him a similar sense of expression and connection. One of the groups that inspired him while growing up was One Direction. Watching their performances and seeing the way they connected with fans helped shape his dream of performing one day.
“They were a big part of my childhood,” Amiel says. “Seeing their energy on stage and the way they connected with fans made me dream of doing the same someday.”
A Chance Opportunity
Amiel’s entry into the entertainment industry happened in a way that reflects how many young artists today are discovered. It started with TikTok. Like many young people, he shared videos online without expecting that they might lead to something bigger.
“My manager saw my videos there, which opened the door for me,” he says. “When the opportunity came, I grabbed it without hesitation.”
That opportunity eventually led him to become part of ONE VERSE. The group’s official reveal remains one of the most memorable moments of his early career. Standing on stage that day, Amiel felt a mixture of excitement and disbelief as he realized that his dreams were starting to take shape.
“My heart was racing,” he recalls. “I kept thinking, ‘This is really happening. This is the moment my life changes.’”
Learning Through Challenges
While the stage may look exciting from the outside, Amiel openly shares that the process behind it was not always easy. When he first started training, he did not yet have strong singing or dancing skills. Entering training where others already had experience made him feel intimidated and unsure of himself.
“The hardest part was walking into training knowing I could not sing or dance at first,” he admits.
Confidence was something he struggled with during that time. Even though he practiced regularly, there were moments when he wondered if he was good enough to keep up with the others around him. Instead of giving up, he focused on improving little by little and reminding himself why he started.
“In the beginning I struggled the most with confidence,” he shares. “Even when I practiced a lot, I sometimes wondered if I was good enough.”
With patience, consistent practice, and support from people around him, he slowly began to build confidence in his abilities.
“Over time I learned that growth takes patience,” he says.
Introvert Off Stage, Performer On Stage
Although fans often see him as energetic and expressive on stage, Amiel says his personality off stage is very different. Away from performances and cameras, he prefers a calm and simple lifestyle.
“Off stage I’m actually introverted,” he says. “I’m a simple and quiet person who enjoys calm moments.”
However, the moment he steps onto the stage, something changes. The presence of an audience and the energy of the crowd allow him to express a more confident side of himself.
“On stage I become more confident and extroverted,” he explains. “The energy from the crowd helps bring that side of me out.”
For Amiel, connecting with fans is one of the most meaningful parts of performing.
“Seeing fans smile or sing along reminds me why I chose this path,” he says. “Their support gives me strength.”
Personal Style
Outside of performing, Amiel prefers a style that reflects comfort and simplicity. In everyday life, he enjoys wearing relaxed clothing that allows him to move freely.
“In my everyday life I usually dress simple and comfortable,” he shares.
His wardrobe often includes relaxed streetwear such as oversized shirts, loose pants, and sneakers. Rather than following a specific celebrity or brand, Amiel says he admires people who confidently express their individuality.
“I admire people who mix comfort with confidence,” he explains. “Style should reflect your mood and personality.”
If he had to describe his personal style in three words, Amiel says it would be chill, clean, elegant.
New Opportunities
As Amiel continues to grow as an artist, more opportunities have begun to appear along the way. Fans who follow his social media may have noticed him participating in different projects and public events.
Among them is his campaign with Made in Manila, a local clothing brand known for its streetwear style. He has also appeared in several mall tours as a guest artist, giving fans the chance to see him perform live and interact with audiences.
These experiences allow Amiel to gain more stage experience while continuing to grow as a performer and connect with more audiences. During our last conversation, he also shared that he is working on a short film project that he cannot disclose publicly yet. “I want to explore my own sound and identity as an artist,” he says.
This period allows him to better understand his creativity and develop the kind of performer he hopes to become.
Looking Toward the Future
Even though he is still early in his career, Amiel already has clear dreams for the future. He hopes to release his own music, perform on larger stages around the world, and continue growing as an artist.
“I want to release songs and albums and perform on big stages internationally,” he says.
He also hopes to return to acting one day, reconnecting with the passion that first inspired him to perform.
“My biggest goal right now is to become a great solo artist,” he shares.
A Message to His Fans
Throughout his experience so far, Amiel says that the support of fans has played an important role in helping him stay motivated. There were moments when he struggled with self doubt, but seeing people believe in him helped him keep moving forward.
“There were times when I doubted myself,” he says. “But the support from fans became my strength.”
He hopes that his story can inspire others who are also chasing their dreams.
“If my journey proves anything,” Amiel says, “it’s that you don’t have to be perfect to be worthy of your dreams.”
