In observance of World Food Month, foodpanda Philippines is highlighting its community initiatives under “Let’s Do Our PAU-rt,” a program that aims to promote food accessibility, strengthen food security, and support community development. Through partnerships with national and local government agencies, non-government organizations (NGOs), academic institutions, and local enterprises, the initiative brings together different sectors to support vulnerable communities.

The program brings together partners across key areas in the Philippines, including Metro Manila, Tuguegarao, and Cebu. Through food assistance, livelihood opportunities, and food rescue efforts, foodpanda supports communities while contributing to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 2: Zero Hunger and 17: Partnerships for the Goals.
Through its Donor for the Day activities with Walang Gutom Kitchen in Pasay and Cebu, foodpanda extended support to individuals in street situations. These activities form part of the company’s efforts to help improve food accessibility for communities that need assistance.
Foodpanda also partnered with Taguig Kakanin Cooperative, Simbayanan ni Maria Multi-purpose Cooperative, and the Department of Trade and Industry – National Capital Region (DTI NCR) through pandamarket. These collaborations aim to support local cooperatives and merchants through opportunities that strengthen local livelihoods.
Other community initiatives focused on food assistance and volunteer activities. Through kitchen volunteering with Scholars of Sustenance Philippines and the Quezon City Social Services Development Department, foodpanda helped bring ready-to-eat meals to foodpanda delivery partners and child development centers in Quezon City.
The company’s initiatives also included food voucher assistance for persons deprived of liberty at BJMP Makati City Jail. In Tuguegarao City, foodpanda supported the Hapag-Pag-Asa Program of the University of St. Louis, extending its community support efforts to another area in the country.

“At foodpanda, we believe that making life delicious goes beyond delivering food—it also means helping make food more accessible to communities that need it most. Through ‘Let’s Do Our PAU-rt,’ we are proud to work alongside our partners to support vulnerable communities, strengthen local livelihoods, and contribute to efforts that address food insecurity. These initiatives reflect our commitment to creating meaningful impact beyond World Food Month and reaffirm the importance of collaboration in building more resilient communities,” said Leopoldo De Castro Jr., Finance Director at foodpanda Philippines.
Through “Let’s Do Our PAU-rt,” foodpanda brings its Making Life Delicious commitment beyond food delivery. By working with government agencies, NGOs, academic institutions, cooperatives, and local enterprises, the company supports community needs through food assistance, livelihood initiatives, and collaborative efforts to improve food accessibility.
