Madame Tussauds Hong Kong’s K-Wave Zone is a paradise for fans of K-pop and K-drama. This year, the attraction has reached new heights of excitement with the addition of Hallyu superstar Hyun Bin to its impressive lineup.

Hyun Bin is a celebrated figure in South Korean entertainment, boasting a career that spans over two decades. He gained widespread acclaim for his roles in beloved K-dramas like My Lovely Sam Soon and Secret Garden. In 2019, he captured global attention with his portrayal of Ri Jeong-hyeok in Crash Landing on You, which became one of the highest-rated shows in Korean cable television history. His outstanding performance earned him several accolades, including the Baeksang Arts Awards for Most Popular Actor and the Grand Prize at the APAN Star Awards.

The wax figure of Hyun Bin captures his essence in a sophisticated grey suit, reflecting his signature charm. With his right hand casually tucked in his pocket, the figure embodies the gentleman persona that fans adore. Enhancing the experience, the figure is set against a backdrop resembling Myeongdeong, and visitors can hear the heartbeat of the actor intensifying, simulating the thrill of a romantic K-drama moment.

To celebrate the unveiling of Hyun Bin’s wax figure, Madame Tussauds Hong Kong has launched an engaging giveaway contest for fans. Visitors are encouraged to reenact their favorite K-drama moments with the wax figure and share their videos on social media. Winners will receive round-trip tickets to South Korea, generously sponsored by Hong Kong Airlines.

The Korean experience at Madame Tussauds doesn’t end there. The attraction has partnered with the Korean Cultural Center in Hong Kong for a year-long collaboration designed to provide K-fans with an immersive visit. Kicking off this partnership is the “Hanbok Experience,” where guests can don traditional Hanbok attire for memorable photos alongside their favorite Korean idols and actors, including Hyun Bin.
