InMode Boost: A 3-in-1 Skin Treatment With Forma, Lumecca, and Morpheus8

A skin treatment trio for a more youthful look

My birthday is just around the corner, a month from now to be exact. And yes, I am not getting any younger. At 41, I have started paying more attention to the changes in my skin. Fine lines are more noticeable, my skin does not feel quite as tight as it used to, and I already have a few sun and age spots that have become more visible. With another birthday coming up, it felt like the right time to give my skin a little extra attention.

When I found out that I would be trying InMode Boost at the SpectruMed Experience Center, I immediately got excited because the treatment includes two procedures I already know and love. Morpheus8 is my favorite treatment by far, while Forma is one of the most relaxing treatments I have experienced. Forma literally gives that feeling of wanting more once the session is over. Having both in one treatment session was already enough to get me interested, and then there was Lumecca, which was completely new to me.

InMode Boost

InMode Boost combines three InMode technologies: Morpheus8, Forma, and Lumecca. The treatment is designed to address several skin concerns in one session, including texture, tone, firmness, pigmentation, and facial contour. The combination also brings together different approaches to skin concerns. Forma and Morpheus8 work together on texture and contour, while Lumecca and Morpheus8 focus on brightening and renewing the appearance of the skin.

For me, the combination made sense because I am not expecting to turn back the clock or reverse aging. The goal is much simpler: to help my skin feel tighter, look more even, and address some of the concerns that have become more noticeable over time. And with my birthday coming up, a little extra help does not hurt.

Forma: The Relaxing Start

Forma was the first treatment, and it was immediately familiar to me. Having tried Forma in the past, I already knew how relaxing the experience could be. The easiest way to describe the sensation is to imagine warm spa stones gently moving across the face. The radiofrequency handpiece produces a steady, comfortable heat as it moves across the skin, making it easy to relax and simply enjoy the treatment.

What makes Forma particularly relevant to me at 41 is the type of concerns it targets. The treatment helps define facial contours and the jawline, improve skin laxity and elasticity, and smoothen fine lines and wrinkles. These are exactly the areas I want to address, especially because I want my skin to feel tighter. The relaxing sensation is certainly a plus, but what makes Forma even more appealing is that it combines that comfortable experience with concerns that have become more noticeable with age.

According to the InMode Boost treatment description, Forma and Morpheus8 can work together to improve the skin’s texture and shape, with the combination designed to support firmer and more defined-looking skin. Experiencing Forma first also made it easy to understand how different each part of the treatment would feel. It started the session in a way that was comfortable and familiar before moving on to the other technologies.

Lumecca Targets Visible Pigmentation and Redness

After the warmth of Forma, the experience shifted with Lumecca. This was the one treatment in the InMode Boost session that I had not tried before. I have had IPL in the past for facial hair, but Lumecca brought a different focus to the skin. It uses pulses of light to target visible pigmentation and redness, including sun spots and age spots. It also improves redness and visible blood vessels, evens skin tone, and boosts radiance.

Those concerns immediately made Lumecca interesting to me. At 41, I already have a few noticeable sun and age spots, and a recent face scan at one of the clinics I visited had also pointed them out. Knowing that these spots were already becoming more visible made this part of the InMode Boost experience particularly relevant. It was also interesting to try a treatment that focused on concerns I had not paid as much attention to in previous facial treatments.

The InMode Boost description explains that Lumecca and Morpheus8 can work together to brighten and renew the appearance of the skin, with Lumecca focusing on dark spots and uneven tone while Morpheus8 addresses the skin from a deeper level. That combination made sense during the session because Lumecca brought attention to concerns that were visible on the surface of my skin.

The SpectruMed team explained each step throughout the experience, which made the process easy to follow. I knew what each handpiece was doing and what to expect as the treatment progressed. After the relaxing warmth of Forma, Lumecca brought a completely different focus, this time addressing pigmentation, redness, and overall skin tone.

Morpheus8 Was My Favorite

Then came Morpheus8, which remains my favorite part of the InMode Boost experience. This was not my first time undergoing the procedure. It was actually my second, so I already had some familiarity with the treatment. Morpheus8 uses tiny needles to create channels in the skin while radiofrequency energy works beneath the surface, making it the most intensive-feeling part of the three-treatment experience.

Morpheus8 does come with downtime, and that is something I consider before undergoing the procedure. It leaves marks on the face afterward, so I would not recommend planning a busy schedule or going out a lot immediately after the treatment. That said, my own recovery has been surprisingly manageable. I had the treatment yesterday, and I was already out today. The marks were still visible if someone looked closely at my skin, but they were not particularly noticeable at a glance.

Based on my previous experience and this latest session, the marks typically take around one to two days to heal, with three days being the longest recovery period I have experienced. The downtime is there, but for me, it has been manageable enough that I could still go out the following day without feeling like I had to completely hide my face. Of course, everyone’s skin can respond differently, so my experience should not be taken as a guarantee of the same recovery time for everyone.

The treatment also ended with AnteAGE MD Biosomes as part of the aftercare. I cannot say for certain how much the Biosomes contributed to my recovery, but I do wonder if they played a role in how quickly my skin settled after the procedure. Considering that I was already comfortable enough to go out the next day, the aftercare was certainly a welcome part of the experience.

Despite the downtime and temporary marks, Morpheus8 remains my favorite. The fact that this was already my second time undergoing the treatment says a lot about how much I personally enjoy the procedure.

Three Treatments, One InMode Boost Experience

What stood out about InMode Boost was how different the three treatments felt. Forma brought the relaxing warmth of radiofrequency, with a sensation similar to warm spa stones gently moving across the face. Lumecca was the new experience, using pulses of light to target visible pigmentation and redness while addressing concerns such as sun spots, age spots, visible blood vessels, uneven skin tone, and radiance. Morpheus8 was the familiar favorite, using tiny needles and radiofrequency energy beneath the skin before finishing with AnteAGE MD Biosomes as part of the aftercare.

The three procedures did not feel like three versions of the same treatment. Each had a different purpose and addressed a different concern. For me, that matters because the focus at 41 is no longer simply about having good skin. It is also about maintaining facial contours and the jawline, improving the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, addressing skin laxity and elasticity, and dealing with visible sun and age spots.

The combination is also what makes InMode Boost interesting. Rather than focusing on just one concern, the treatment brings together technologies that address different aspects of the skin. Forma provides the relaxing radiofrequency experience and focuses on contour, laxity, elasticity, fine lines, and wrinkles. Lumecca focuses on visible pigmentation, redness, uneven tone, and radiance. Morpheus8 brings the deeper radiofrequency treatment that I already know and love, even with the downtime that comes with it.

I also approach the idea of looking younger realistically. Aging cannot be reversed, but the skin can receive some help along the way. For me, the goal is not to look dramatically different. It is about taking better care of my skin and addressing the changes that have become more noticeable as I get older.

For me, InMode Boost stands out among the treatment experiences I have had at SpectruMed so far because the three procedures address different concerns while creating distinctly different experiences. Forma started the session with the relaxing experience I already knew I loved, Lumecca introduced something completely new, and Morpheus8 ended it with my favorite treatment.

InModePRO is exclusively distributed in the Philippines by SpectruMed. Anyone interested in InMode Boost can bring up the treatment during an appointment with a dermatologist or aesthetic doctor and discuss whether it fits their own skin concerns and goals.

With my birthday only a month away, I am taking the experience for what it is: a little help in taking better care of my skin while getting older. There is no expectation of reversing aging. Instead, the focus is on feeling more confident about my skin and addressing the concerns that have started to appear at 41.

The InMode Boost session ended with AnteAGE MD Biosomes as part of the aftercare. Now comes the part I am most curious about: seeing how my skin looks in the days ahead, and of course, taking a few photos along the way.
