Capping off Filipino food month has never been more festive. Marco Polo Ortigas, Manila, and Asian Dragon Magazine recently came together to launch a limited line of cocktails inspired by Destileria Limtuaco’s line of Philippine spirits. The intimate gathering included guests from the restaurant and food and beverage industry at VU’s Sky Bar and Lounge on Level 45 of the hotel.

The event introduced guests to the refreshing flavors of Manille Basil Smash, playfully tangy Manille Dalandan Margarita, the delightfully sultry Paradise Mojito, and the straight-forward Salamangkero. Guests had the opportunity to sample the lush libations as creatively prepared by the Sky Bar’s talented bartending crew. At the end of the evening, the crowd favorite among the four featured cocktails will be showcased at VU’s as “Potion of the Quarter.” The crowd selected the Manille Dalandan Margarita to take centerstage at VU’s in the coming weeks.
