Singapore Airlines (SIA) has partnered with Mastercard and Grand Hyatt Manila to introduce Culinary Connections, a limited-time dining experience that celebrates flavors from destinations across Singapore Airlines’ global network. Available at The Grand Kitchen in Grand Hyatt Manila from 6 August 2026 to 5 October 2026, the collaboration brings together travel, cuisine, and hospitality through a curated selection of dishes inspired by destinations served by Singapore Airlines.
Alongside the culinary fare offered by The Grand Kitchen, Culinary Connections introduces new dining options that allow guests to savor unique flavors while learning about the history and cultural significance behind each dish. The collaboration also offers exclusive dining privileges for KrisFlyer members and Mastercard cardholders, creating an experience that extends beyond the table.

Local favorites brought to life
Carefully curated by the talented chefs of Grand Hyatt Manila’s The Grand Kitchen, Culinary Connections features three distinct dishes inspired by destinations across Singapore Airlines’ global network. Each dish showcases flavors celebrated by locals while giving diners the opportunity to experience diverse culinary traditions through a thoughtfully curated menu.
The first featured dish is Otak-Otak, a Southeast Asian delicacy made of fish mixed with spices and coconut milk, then wrapped in a banana leaf. Traditionally steamed or grilled, the dish is known for its aromatic flavor and fragrance. This particular version is enhanced with curry paste, adding a kick of spice that instantly transports diners to the vibrant street food markets of Singapore.
Another highlight is Mee Pok, a flat, yellow Chinese egg noodle that serves as the base for many noodle dishes. It is tossed in a tangy and spicy sauce before being topped with juicy mushrooms, crunchy bean sprouts, flavorful ground beef, and squid balls. The combination delivers an exciting blend of flavors and textures in every bite.
Completing the trio is Octopus Adobo, a Filipino-inspired delicacy that combines tender, chewy octopus with the tangy, garlicky soy-vinegar sauce that distinguishes the bold flavors of adobo. The addition of Indonesian sauce sambal introduces a surprising kick of heat, elevating the dish’s overall flavor profile while bringing together regional influences in a single plate.
