The 2025 edition of Inspired Beginnings at Conrad Manila stood out as a sophisticated tribute to wedding artistry, bringing together the country’s most sought-after designers, stylists, and creative visionaries in a two-day affair that celebrated the elegance of love and the craftsmanship of Filipino talent.
The celebration opened with DEVOCIÓN, a solo couture presentation by celebrated designer Francis Libiran. Under the meticulous creative direction of Ariel Lozada, the show embodied the spirit of modern romance and set the overall tone for the event. The couture gala brought to life Libiran’s intricate craftsmanship and bold silhouettes, reflecting the kind of detail and refinement that Conrad Manila is known for. The show not only captivated the audience with its fashion-forward aesthetics but also served as a fitting prologue to the rest of the weekend’s offerings.

The second day concluded in spectacular fashion with a grand runway show led by Robby Carmona. The finale was a highlight, featuring bridal collections from esteemed designers Rian Fernandez, Manny Halasan, Nat Manilag, Ehrran Montoya, Val Taguba, Vee Tan, and Ryan Ablaza Uson. Each showcased a distinct interpretation of bridal elegance, merging traditional and modern elements in a way that redefined the concept of wedding couture. From luxurious fabrics to avant-garde silhouettes, the designers presented their masterpieces in a visual narrative that resonated with attendees and left a lasting impression.

Adding a layer of creative depth, the event also featured a curated exhibit of art-inspired tablescapes. These thematic installations showcased the unique talents of top event stylists, each drawing inspiration from renowned Filipino artists. Blooms Events by Allen & JP paid tribute to National Artist Arturo Luz with a minimalist yet impactful tablescape. Ginger Gaddi honored Olivia D’Aboville with a display that mirrored the artist’s delicate and nature-inspired style. Randy Lazaro drew from the bold and abstract works of Hernando Ocampo, while Drew Menor channelled the luminous and romantic imagery of Fernando Amorsolo.
Dave Sandoval created a setup that captured the vibrant personality of Mauro Malang, while Tiger Lim took inspiration from Lizanne Uychaco’s contemporary sculptures. FJ Sionson presented a visual homage to Mark Justiniani’s large-scale installations, and Kathy Sy-King drew from the organic and textured works of Impy Pilapil. Each stylized table served as both a functional display and a standalone piece of art, enriching the ambiance with layered symbolism and Filipino creativity.

The ribbon cutting ceremony officially marked the start of the event. The occasion was led by several distinguished guests including Fonzy Mendoza (Project Head of Inspired Beginnings, Asst. Director of Events, Conrad Manila), Mark Justiniani (featured artist), Kutchie Zaldarriaga (CEO, Getting Married Wedding Coordinators & Event Planners), Hon. Imelda Calixto Rubiano (Pasay City Mayor), Lizanne Uychaco (featured artist), Impy Pilapil (featured artist), Olivia d’Aboville (featured artist), Fabio Berto (General Manager, Conrad Manila), and Tamara Ruiz (Director of Sales, Conrad Manila). Their presence underscored the significance of the event, not just as a showcase of bridal trends but also as a cultural gathering that highlighted artistic excellence.
