Japan is bringing their vibrant autumn season to the Philippines! The Japan National Tourism Organization (JNTO) is thrilled to announce its participation in this year’s Travel Madness Expo (TME) 2025, organized by Travel Innovators, Inc. The event will take place from July 11 to 13, 2025, at the SMX Convention Center Manila, located in the SM Mall of Asia complex.
This year, as an escape from the heat of the city, JNTO is featuring the Autumn Festival at the Japan Pavilion. Experience Japanese Autumn through presentations, traditional snacks, and activities.
There will be a Yukata experience for photo ops, Instagrammable displays, an Ema wall to write down wishes, and calligraphy. Guests can have their names intricately written in hiragana, katakana, or kanji. Omikuji or “Fortune draws” will be available for visitors to try their luck with traditional Japanese fortunes. Visitors can look forward to exciting giveaways and special surprises, plus a dedicated travel counter for the latest travel updates and expert travel advice will be present.
There will be a Japanese sweets demonstration so the audience can experience classic Japanese autumn snacks, as well as quiz games like “Konnichi-WHAT!?” and “Must Know! A yes or no quiz”. Japan-born but Philippine-based comedian Yuki Horikoshi will perform his famous comedy sketches live. Participating airlines will also share the latest information on their routes and more.
This year’s headliner is Nanao! “Anisong” is a new genre born of anime music and Nanao is a sensation in the scene! Watch her captivating performance on both Saturday & Sunday at 2:00–2:30 PM on the Travel Madness Expo Main Stage and again at the Visit Japan Pavilion mini stage on Saturday & Sunday at 11:00–11:20 AM & 5:30–5:50 PM.
Come celebrate Japan’s autumn magic and take your first step toward your next Japan adventure at the Travel Madness Expo 2025!
