The new Huawei MatePad T8 has a vibrant 8-inch HD display with an ultra-slim 4.9 mm side bezels and 80% screen-to-body ratio that is perfect for your entertainment and media needs. It also features an enhanced Eye Comfort Mode that helps protect eyes from blue light. Aside from this feature, users will receive an alert to adjust the way they hold the tablet at a certain angle to further protect their eyes while lying down.
Under the hood it uses a 2.0GHz 12nm MediaTek MT8768 octa-core processor with 2GB RAM, 32GB expandable storage, and 5,100mAh battery with 5W charging. According to Huawei, this tablet lasts at least 12 hours on a single charge, giving more time for local video playback and web browsing.
The MatePad T8 is equipped with fun yet educational tools for kids with parental controls, making this tablet a safe playground for your kids. It also runs with the Android 10-based EMUI 10.0.1 skin out of the box with Huawei Mobile Services and AppGallery.
As far as the cameras are concerned, The new MatePad T8 comes with a 2-megapixel front camera with f/2.4 aperture for selfies and a 5-megapixel rear camera.
The Huawei MatePad T8 arrived with the familiar white box with the Huawei logo and the AppGallery icon on the lower portion of the box. This means that Huawei is actively promoting its own app store as a replacement for Google Play.
Inside the box contains the Huawei MatePad T8, charger, Micro USB cable, SIM ejector pin, quick start guide and the warranty card.
The Huawei MatePad T8 is perfect for users who are looking for a budget-friendly tablet that comes with a large display for enjoying movies and reading ebooks. I’ve been using the device for a week now and one thing I liked about this tablet is the size and how comfortable the screen is to the eyes especially for reading ebooks.
