Aside from boosting your productivity at work by providing more screen space to view multiple apps at once, it also delivers more immersive gaming.

Ultrawide display monitors meshes with my working style being able to see everything I need in one screen and being able to open multiple apps makes working faster and more enjoyable. I can even watch my favorite youtubers on YouTube or watch my favorite series on Netflix while I work. So if you’re like me, then, you’re in for a treat because this monitor will definitely show you everything in just one screen.

Unboxing/Accessories

The Philips 346B1C Curved UltraWide LCD Monitor comes in a large brown box with the brand logo on the left side of the box and feature specifications printed on both sides of the box. Inside is a styrofoam package that serves as a cushion to the monitor, product documentations, HDMI cable, DP cable, USB-C/A Y cable, and Power cable.

Build Quality/Design

Philips 346B1C curved ultrawide LCD monitor is designed to be a productivity-oriented monitor, but that doesn’t stop it from having some qualities that would make it work as a gaming monitor. Personally I love using this monitor when working with the use of the USB-C docking station, I can easily connect my laptop to the monitor and also use it to connect to my PS4 console to play my favorite games.

The screen delivers CrystalClear, UltraWide Quad HD 3440 x 1440 pixel images. Utilizing high performance panels with high-density pixel count, 178/178 wide viewing angles, these new displays will make your images and graphics come alive. The UltraWide 21:9 format enables more productivity with more room for side-by-side comparisons and more viewable spreadsheet columns. Whether you are a demanding professional requiring extremely detailed information for CAD-CAM solutions or a financial wizard working on huge spreadsheets, Philips displays deliver CrystalClear images.

Built in USB-C docking station

As our laptops get slimmer and most of them are now equipped with USB-C and thunderbolt ports, the only way to connect any peripherals or a monitor is through a USB-C port. Having a USB-C docking monitor can make life a lot easier rather than having all kinds of cables laying across your desk, you can simply have a single USB-C cable and connect it directly to your laptop.

Thankfully, Philips are offering a new monitor equipped with a USB-C port that lets you connect your laptop without the need of any adaptors leaving your desk clutter-free. Aside from that, due to the nature of USB-C, you can also charge your ultrabook through this monitor. Simply connect your notebook to this monitor with a single USB-C cable to watch high-resolution video and transfer super-speed data, while powering up and re-charging your notebook at the same time.
