The Travel Club is once again launching its “Donate Your Old Case for a Cause” initiative, happening from March 13 to 16, 2025, at SM Mall of Asia, Eastwood Mall, and Estancia Mall. This program allows customers to trade in their pre-loved yet still usable luggage and bags in exchange for up to 40% off select travel gear.
More than just scoring great deals, this initiative offers an opportunity to make a significant impact. In partnership with the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA), all donated luggage will be distributed to first-time Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) who require durable and dependable travel companions as they embark on their journey abroad.
Exclusive Discounts for Participants
Customers who join the trade-in program can enjoy generous discounts on featured items. Discounts vary between 15% and 40%, depending on the collection. Those opting for regular-priced items can still take advantage of a 10% discount.
The trade-in program follows a simple one-to-one basis:
- One (1) luggage = Discount on one (1) luggage
- One (1) bag = Discount on one (1) bag
If a customer trades in a bag (such as a backpack, messenger bag, or duffel bag) but decides to purchase luggage instead, a lower discount will be applied. This ensures flexibility while encouraging more people to participate.
What Items Are Accepted?
Donated luggage and bags must be in working condition. While minor flaws such as missing zipper pullers or slight dents are acceptable, items with broken wheels, damaged zippers, or cracked shells will not qualify. The Travel Club team will assess each item to confirm if it meets the required condition.
How to Join the Trade-In Program
Participating in the “Donate Your Old Case for a Cause” initiative is simple:
- Bring your pre-loved luggage or bag to any participating The Travel Club store.
- Hand it over to a store representative in exchange for a Sale Number Tag (SNT).
- Use your SNT to claim discounts on featured collections or regular-priced items.
- Complete your purchase at the cashier.
If you are unable to find the perfect item on the same day, you can either reclaim your luggage or use your SNT for 10% off regular-priced items during the promo period.
