In addition to the launch of the REDMI Note 15 Series, Xiaomi today expanded its growing AIoT ecosystem with the introduction of new smart audio products. Leading the lineup are the Mijia Smart Audio Glasses, Xiaomi’s own audio eyewear innovation, alongside the latest entry-level earbuds under the REDMI brand, the REDMI Buds 8 Lite. These devices reflect Xiaomi’s continued focus on intelligent connectivity, everyday usability, and accessible technology for modern lifestyles.
Timeless and elegant eyewear with cutting-edge open-ear audio
Blending classic eyewear aesthetics with advanced open-ear audio technology, the Mijia Smart Audio Glasses are designed to deliver immersive sound while allowing users to remain aware of their surroundings. Built directly into the frames is a speaker system supported by four integrated microphones, enabling clear audio performance during daily activities such as city walks or outdoor travel.

The open-ear design is enhanced by 4.5m/s wind noise reduction, helping maintain sound clarity even in outdoor environments. For users who require discretion during meetings or phone calls, a newly introduced privacy mode utilizes a customized algorithm to significantly reduce sound leakage while keeping audio clear to the wearer.
The Mijia Smart Audio Glasses are available in three classic frame options: Titanium, Pilot-Style, and Browline. Each variant is designed to balance style, comfort, and durability. All lenses can be replaced with prescription lenses if needed. The Browline and Titanium versions include lenses with up to 25 percent blue light protection, while the Pilot-Style option features UV400-protection sunglasses capable of blocking up to 99.99 percent of ultraviolet light.

Comfort and versatility are further emphasized through lightweight construction and modular design. The Titanium model stands out with ultra-light 27.6g frames, making it suitable for extended daily wear. Browline and Pilot-Style frames include a quick-release mechanism, allowing users to change styles effortlessly.
Durability is also a key feature. The glasses are reinforced with a piano-wire hinge tested to withstand up to 15,000 flexes. An IP54 dust and splash resistance certification provides added protection against humidity, light rain, and everyday environmental exposure.
Powering the Mijia Smart Audio Glasses are two compact 114mAh custom non-coaxial steel-cased batteries discreetly positioned toward the ends of the temples. This placement enables a slim profile measuring down to 5mm near the frames, reducing pressure on the ears and enhancing all-day comfort. Fast charging allows a 10-minute charge to deliver approximately 4 hours of playback, while a full charge takes about one hour. At 100 percent charge, the glasses provide up to 13 hours of continuous music playback.
The latest generation of smart audio glasses is supported by the Xiaomi Glasses app, which enables greater control and customization. Audio playback and functions are primarily managed through a touch panel on the temples. Within the app, gesture controls can be customized based on user preferences, such as setting a long press to activate a smartphone’s voice assistant for hands-free responses to messages and calls. The app also includes a feature to help locate misplaced glasses.
Additional functionality includes audio recording, media file recording, and face-to-face conversation recording. An LED indicator automatically lights up during recording sessions to ensure transparency and privacy awareness. Dual-device connectivity allows users to seamlessly switch audio between a smartphone and a laptop.
The Mijia Smart Audio Glasses will be available with the Titanium version starting from P12,999, while Browline and Pilot-Style variants start from P10,999.
Entry-level crystal-clear personal sound
Designed for practicality and ease of use, the REDMI Buds 8 Lite cater to users seeking reliable everyday audio with fast charging and modern connectivity. Available in Black, White, and Blue, the earbuds feature a durable exterior design suitable for daily use.

At the heart of the REDMI Buds 8 Lite is a large 12.4mm titanium-diaphragm driver that delivers clear sound with rich detail. Through a Bluetooth® 5.4 connection, the earbuds support AAC and SBC audio codecs, ensuring consistent audio quality across a wide range of devices.
To enhance listening experiences in different environments, the earbuds feature Transparency mode, allowing users to remain aware of surrounding sounds. They also offer up to 42dB wide frequency hybrid active noise cancellation, using a combination of talk and feedback microphones to suppress low-frequency ambient noise effectively.
For voice calls, dual-mic AI environmental noise cancellation leverages AI algorithms to isolate the user’s voice, even in outdoor conditions with wind speeds of up to 6m/s. Sound customization is supported through five pre-installed EQ modes, allowing users to enhance bass, vocals, or treble. Additional EQ adjustments can be made through the Xiaomi Earbuds app.

The REDMI Buds 8 Lite also supports dual-device connectivity, enabling simultaneous connections to devices such as a smartphone and a laptop. The earbuds automatically switch between devices based on the call source, offering added convenience for multitasking users.
Fast charging plays a key role in the buds’ appeal. A 10-minute charge provides up to 2 hours of music playback, while total battery life reaches up to 36 hours when used with the charging case.
Blending classic design, fast charging, and flexible connectivity, the REDMI Buds 8 Lite are positioned as a value-for-money audio solution for everyday use. Pricing starts from P1,199.
