In partnership with Solaire Resort Quezon City, seasoned visual artist and event curator Ycoy Sitchon unveiled Heliora on August 7 through an exclusive artist reception. The evening marked the official opening of the exhibition, bringing together representatives from Solaire Resort Quezon City, Solaire Resort, Galerie Joaquin Group, and the artist herself.
The evening commenced with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and celebratory toast marking the exhibit’s official opening. Joining the occasion were Damian Quayle, Chief Operating Officer of Solaire Resort Quezon City, Sam Wilkes, Vice President for Food & Beverage of Solaire Resort, Joaquin Teotico, Owner and President of Galerie Joaquin Group, and the artist herself, Ycoy Sitchon.
The occasion also carried a personal significance for Sitchon, who fittingly celebrated her birthday on the same day as the official unveiling of Heliora. The artist reception brought together the opening of the exhibition and a celebration of Sitchon’s milestone at Solaire Resort Quezon City.

Heliora Unfolds as a Celestial Garden of Light and Nature
Bathed in warmth and radiance, HELIORA unfolds like a celestial garden suspended in perpetual bloom. Conceived exclusively for Solaire North, the collection draws from the property’s solar emblem and transforms it into a luminous visual universe shaped by flourishing florals, vibrant butterflies, and richly layered textures.
Through HELIORA, Ycoy Sitchon invites viewers into a world suspended between fantasy and refinement, where butterflies become emissaries of movement and florals rise in magnificent profusion beneath a gilded sky.

Within Ycoy Sitchon’s canvases, butterflies drift across fields of color like fleeting fragments of light while petals unfurl in sweeping, expressive movement. Gold-infused tones, incandescent blues, and vivid botanical hues create an atmosphere steeped in grandeur and romanticism. Each work carries a sense of expansiveness, as though nature itself were illuminated beneath an eternal sun.
The title HELIORA evokes the poetry of helios and aura, conjuring visions of brilliance, vitality, and transformation. Presented within the contemporary elegance of Solaire North, the exhibition envelops the space in an atmosphere of flourishing abundance where art, light, and environment move in harmonious rhythm.
