Rainy days in the city don’t have to mean being stuck at home. For those craving a refreshing change of scenery without leaving the metro, Lime Resort Manila in Pasay offers a warm and relaxing haven perfect for a weekend staycation. Located just a short drive from central business districts and major transport hubs, the hotel is an ideal option for city dwellers, digital nomads, or families who need a break from their daily grind.
During my visit, I spent the staycation with my niece Arkisha, and it turned out to be a memorable family experience. The hotel’s modern, cozy interiors paired with stunning views of the bay offered the perfect setting to unwind, even during gloomy weather. Whether you’re working remotely or simply looking for a quick breather, the hotel’s calming ambiance and practical features make it easy to combine rest and productivity.
From the moment we checked in, Lime Resort Manila delivered a seamless stay. The inviting atmosphere, helpful staff, and thoughtfully designed spaces made us feel right at home. Whether you’re lounging in your room, soaking in the tub, or taking in the view from the balcony, the hotel feels like a true urban retreat tailored for work, play, or quality time with loved ones.
Our Room
Stepping into the Premier King Bayview Suite felt like stepping into a tranquil oasis. This spacious 62-square-meter space is bathed in natural light thanks to its corner location and floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking Manila Bay. The suite boasts modern and minimalist architecture that whispers of palm trees and ocean breezes, seamlessly blending with the stunning natural backdrop. All views are enhanced by automatic window curtains that adjust with the touch of a button. I particularly enjoyed staying on the balcony in the afternoon to watch the sunset while reading a good book.

The room’s design seamlessly integrates a large, contemporary bathroom area, directly connected to the main living space and separated by a sliding glass door. In the center of this open bathroom is a stylish, white freestanding bathtub. My niece Arkisha was especially excited about this feature and wasted no time enjoying a bubble-filled soak. A staycation tip: don’t forget to bring your favorite bubble bath or bath bomb to make the most of this relaxing setup. The tub is complemented by the hotel’s complimentary bath salts and loofah pad, along with other bathroom essentials. To the left, there’s a spacious rainfall shower, which added to the calming ambiance. A tinted glass enclosure separates the toilet, and a long dual-sink vanity completes the space with ample counter space and large mirrors.

The bedroom itself features a large, comfortable king-sized bed adorned with a white duvet, two patterned pillows with green and blue geometric designs, and a matching bed runner. Wooden side tables flank the bed, each with built-in power outlets for convenience. Above, modern spherical pendant lights with a wood finish add warmth and style.

Behind the headboard is a divider wall that subtly separates a built-in writing desk, perfect for remote work. A lime green woven-back chair with a teal cushion accompanies the desk. On the opposite wall, two abstract art pieces in blue and lime green inject color into the space. The room also includes a 42” LED flat screen TV, mini refrigerator, safety deposit box, complimentary Wi-Fi, and a storage unit with a coffee and tea station.

The entire suite exudes a cohesive, fresh design, using bright whites, light wood, and pops of green and teal. Even the balcony features artificial grass accents and colorful outdoor furniture, making the space feel homey and vibrant—a truly thoughtful urban sanctuary.

Culinary Delights at Lime
Dinner at Bayside Buffet, located on the first floor of Lime Resort Manila, offers an impressive spread of local and international dishes in a clean, modern setting. The buffet features multiple live cooking stations and a wide selection of Japanese, Filipino, Chinese, and Italian cuisine. We especially enjoyed the dim sum and seafood sections, which felt fresh and plentiful. The ambiance felt upscale yet relaxed, and the friendly staff regularly cleared plates and refilled drinks, keeping service smooth and enjoyable throughout the evening.

In the afternoon, Sky Lounge is a relaxed spot for cocktails and light bites. With its contemporary interiors, floor-to-ceiling windows, and panoramic views of the surrounding area, it is both inviting and functional. We also noticed that many guests were dining here, which tells us the food must be worth trying. While we only had drinks during this visit, we will definitely try their food on our next one.

Lime Resort Manila’s Infinity Pool
The rooftop infinity pool is arguably Lime Resort Manila’s most iconic feature. Perched high above the city, the pool creates a visual illusion of merging with the bay and the sky. Whether under a cloudy monsoon sky or on a clear day, the pool provides a peaceful escape with a front-row seat to Manila’s dramatic sunsets.

Surrounding the pool are plenty of lounge chairs for those who prefer to relax with a drink or read a book. The ambiance is casual but elevated, making it suitable for romantic evenings, solo escapes, or time with friends. Even if swimming isn’t your thing, simply being there offers a sense of peace and escape that’s hard to find in the city.
Other Amenities
Lime Resort Manila is more than just a pretty view. The hotel includes a well-equipped fitness center for cardio and strength training, allowing guests to maintain their routine while traveling. For those looking to unwind further, the in-house spa offers a menu of massages and treatments, including their signature massage designed for deep relaxation.

Additional services include 24-hour front desk assistance, concierge, and on-site parking. Function rooms are also available for business events or private gatherings. The hotel’s central location makes it easy to explore nearby attractions like SM Mall of Asia, Intramuros, or the Cultural Center of the Philippines. Whether you’re in town for business or pleasure, the hotel’s facilities ensure a comfortable, complete experience.

Rates
Room rates at Lime Resort Manila vary depending on the room type, season, and any ongoing promotions. Published rates show that a Standard Twin Room starts at approximately ₱7,000 per night for two guests, while the Premier King Bayview Suite (like the one we experienced) begins at about ₱15,000 for two. These premium suites are priced higher due to their size and location. Each booking typically includes a complimentary breakfast buffet, free Wi‑Fi access, bottled water, coffee and tea, as well as access to the Sky Deck Pool from 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM and the Fitness Center from 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM.
For best value, it’s advisable to book directly through their official website, where occasional promos or exclusive deals may be available. Considering the range of amenities and the bayfront location, the pricing remains competitive compared to other similar hotels in Metro Manila. Whether you’re booking for business, leisure, or a little bit of both, the value for money here is solid.
Would I Recommend This Hotel?
Absolutely. Lime Resort Manila is a solid choice if you’re looking for a relaxing staycation spot in the metro that’s easy to get to and has a good mix of amenities. Whether you’re a digital nomad who needs a reliable space to work, a couple wanting a weekend to unwind, or a family looking for bonding time, this place has something for everyone. It’s just as suitable for solo guests as it is for couples or families.
Whether you’re looking for a short staycation during the rainy season, a functional work-from-hotel spot, or a relaxing family weekend, this resort delivers. My niece Arkisha especially enjoyed our time here, and one of the highlights for her was the freestanding bathtub in our suite. For families with kids, that small feature alone could make a stay extra memorable.
Having experienced it firsthand, the overall impression is one of satisfaction. From the well-designed suite to the relaxing pool and warm hospitality, Lime Resort Manila makes a compelling case for being your next go-to urban escape. It’s definitely one of those places we’d consider returning to, especially for quick getaways that don’t require a long drive or complicated planning.
