PUMA gathered the Philippine running community for the 2026 PUMA Philippine Half Marathon Series kickoff event, officially unveiling the new “Deviate Route” in Bridgetowne. The launch featured a special 5K community run designed to introduce runners to a newly optimized running track built for both performance and accessibility.
The “Deviate Route” is positioned as a dedicated running course that will be open for an entire month. It is also integrated into an official Strava route challenge, allowing runners to log their mileage, track progress, and compete with other participants in the running community. Throughout the month, runners can visit Bridgetowne to experience the course at their own pace while participating in the digital challenge.

Runners from across the city, including members of the PUMA Nitro Run Club, took part in the exclusive launch activity. Participants had the opportunity to test the all-new Deviate NITRO™ 4 while engaging with fellow runners. The community event also encouraged knowledge-sharing, with attendees exchanging training tips and discussing running experiences. Many highlighted the comfort and responsiveness of PUMA’s latest performance footwear during the run.
The event reflects the broader vision of the 2026 PH Half Marathon Series kickoff, which aims to expand competitive and community running experiences across the Philippines. The series will reach runners nationwide, spanning Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao, with official race legs scheduled in Manila, Clark, Iloilo, Cebu, Davao, and Cagayan de Oro.

Experience Responsive Bounce with the Deviate NITRO™ 4
The launch also spotlighted the performance features of the Deviate NITRO™ 4, which is designed to deliver a balance of comfort, propulsion, and endurance support. The shoe combines the soft cushioning of nitrogen-injected NITROFOAM™ with the energy return of a carbon PWRPLATE, creating a responsive running experience suitable for different types of runners.

The Deviate NITRO™ 4, priced at PHP 10,500, is engineered to reduce leg fatigue while enhancing forward momentum. Its design supports runners by delivering consistent energy return throughout each stride, making it suitable for both casual joggers and more competitive athletes.
By improving stride efficiency and reducing strain during longer runs, the shoe aims to help runners maintain performance across various distances. Whether training for a first half marathon or targeting a podium finish, the Deviate NITRO™ 4 is positioned as a versatile option for improving race-day performance.
