The realme Band 2 is a budget-friendly smartwatch that features multiple health and fitness features for a healthier lifestyle. This smartwatch also packs 90 sport modes, a wealth of health trackers including a Sleep Quality Analysis, Blood Oxygen and Heart Rate Monitor, and up to 12 days of battery life.
We’re fortunate enough to get our hands on the new realme Band 2. Here’s our full review on yet again, another amazing product from realme.
Build Quality/Design
The realme Band 2 features a new 3.5cm (1.4inch) color touch screen with 320 x 167 resolution. The new Band 2 feels very light on the wrist and only weighs 27.3 grams. The screen has a 500 nits peak brightness which means you can see more content and notifications more easily than before even under direct sunlight. The touch and swipe functions are very responsive too.
The realme Band 2 comes with a variety of Watch faces to choose from. It also has over 50 watch faces via the realme link app on your smartphone and users can even create a custom watch face by simply uploading an image from your smartphone.
It also has water-resistant up to 50 meters. which means you can wear it to the swimming pool and track your swimming activities or worry about getting it wet while taking a shower. Plus, it also feels comfortable enough that I had no problems sleeping with it on.
One thing we didn’t like about the new realme Band 2 is that it has no physical button, which means we can only navigate through its display and while it may be aesthetically good but it also means that there’s no way of manually turning off or resetting the band if it hangs or lags.
Unboxing/Accessories
The realme Band 2 comes with the company’s signature bright yellow packaging with the watch model printed on the front of the square box. You can also find the realme logo and the six important key features of the Band 2 on both sides. Inside the box, you will see the realme Band 2, a 2-pin magnetic charging base, and the user guide.

It has over 50+ watch faces you can download via the realme Link app to suit your outfit and mood. It also features over 90 sports modes that offer a lot of options like outdoor run, outdoor walk, outdoor cycle, indoor run, indoor walk, pool swimming, football, cricket, basketball, spinning, rower, elliptical, yoga, and many other activities are available in the sports mode.
It also has an amazing health monitor such as real-time heart rate monitoring, blood oxygen monitor, and sleep quality analysis.
Other functions include music control, camera control, find my phone, meditation, stopwatch, clock, weather forecast, call notification, message reminder, alarm reminder, event reminder, Timer, flash light, and much more.

Battery Life
the realme Band 2 is powered by a 204mAh battery which is advertised for up to 12 days of battery life. Charging the device is easy with the magnetic USB charging base that comes with the package, which takes less than an 1 hour (exactly 55mins on my count) to fully charge.
Verdict
I’ve been using the realme Band 2 for a week now and I found that the various trackers were quite accurate. Personally I really liked the sleep tracker as I was able to check the quality of my sleep and the sports mode that lets me track my daily workout. While these features aren’t new, they are definitely what most people look for in a smartwatch.
Overall, the new realme Watch 2 is a great fitness tracking device especially for the price. So if you are looking for a smartwatch with a comprehensive set of health and fitness trackers on a budget, then the realme Band 2 is definitely a device that you should consider.

The realme Band 2 has a price of Php 2,490 with only one color variant (black) available here in the Philippines. As an early-bird offer, the realme Band 2 will also be available for only Php 1,740 (Php 750 an early bird discount) on Lazada & Shopee starting October 22. It is also available in realme authorized stores nationwide.
