SoundPEATS TrueAir 2

SoundPEATS has been one of the leading audio tech brands with an affordable price point. The new TrueAir 2 is one of the most interesting earbuds available on the market at an affordable price point. It packs awesome features such as dual mic cVc noise cancellation, ultra-lightweight comfortable wearing, and TrueWireless mirroring seamless connection. It also has an IPX4 rating for water-resistance, which means they’re splash-proof and dust-proof.

SoundPEATS, known for delivering quality audio at budget-friendly prices, has released the TrueAir 2 earbuds. But do they live up to the hype, and are they truly a worthy alternative to pricier brands? Let’s dive in.

Unboxing/Accessories

Straight out of the box, you’ll find the SoundPEATS TrueAir 2 charging case with the earbuds inside, Type-C charging cable, and paper materials.

Design And Build Quality

The SoundPEATS TrueAir 2 has a simple design with a plastic body, both the stem and body have a rounded shape with the brand’s logo found on the head of the earbuds.

It has an open design like the Apple AirPods, but it has some imposing features, especially considering the price. It easily fits on the ear and is very lightweight at 0.14oz each earbud.

The charging case has a simple design and also has a plastic build. It also has a pill case design which is easy on the pocket. It has a USB Type-C port found outside the case for charging and it also has an LED light indicator inside the charging case.

The TrueAir 2 delivers a surprisingly well-balanced soundstage with rich bass, crisp mids, and clear highs. I enjoyed listening to various genres, from pop and rock to acoustic and podcasts. While they might not match the audiophile-grade detail of high-end earbuds, they certainly hold their own for the price.

Battery

The TrueAir 2 boasts a commendable battery life. During my testing, each earbud provided close to 4.5 hours of continuous playback, and the charging case offered an additional 4-5 charges. This translates to roughly 20-25 hours of total playtime, exceeding the advertised claims.

The Verdict: Value-Packed Performance:

Overall, the SoundPEATS TrueAir 2 offers an impressive combination of features and performance for their price. If you’re looking for comfortable, good-sounding earbuds with effective noise cancellation for calls, and prioritize affordability over premium materials or app support, the TrueAir 2 is worth considering. Just keep in mind the trade-offs involved in their budget-conscious design.
