Send a raven – Scotch is about to enter the realm. In collaboration with HBO® and Game of Thrones, Johnnie Walker, the world’s #1 premium Scotch whisky, has unveiled White Walker by Johnnie Walker. This limited-edition Scotch Whisky is inspired by the most enigmatic characters of the hit show – the White Walkers – and is here for fans to enjoy as anticipation build towards the final season.

Known by their icy blue eyes and led by the Night King, the undead army of White Walkers have emerged from the Frozen North with a limited-edition whisky that evokes their icy world. Created by whisky specialist George Harper alongside the small team of expert blenders at Johnnie Walker, this innovative whisky is best served directly from the freezer at 1.5 degrees and develops layers of flavour as it warms to room temperature.

From the bottle to the blend, White Walker by Johnnie Walker draws inspiration from the winters North of the Wall. The bottle’s icy white and blue design is the perfect backdrop for the iconic Johnnie Walker Striding Man now fashioned in armor to fit in among the ranks of the Night King’s forces. Plus, utilizing temperature-sensitive ink technology, fans will be reminded that “Winter is Here” from an unexpected icy reveal on the bottle when frozen.

It’s a great, easy-drinking whisky featuring notes of caramelized sugar and vanilla and fresh red berries with a touch of orchard fruit – creating a polished, sweet taste with a fruity twist. It features Single Malts from Cardhu and Clynelish, two of Scotland’s northernmost distilleries which have endured long, Scottish winters that are not dissimilar to the long periods endured by those who have ventured north of the wall.

Breaking the long anticipation on the limited-edition blend’s release, Johnnie Walker revealed White Walker by Johnnie Walker last December 6. Winter has come in what used to be the quaint and cozy Run Rabbit Run in Poblacion, Makati, completely transforming the cocktail hub into a wintry blue cavern, drawing references from the ice and wood elements of the Frozen North. This set the backdrop for a dramatic reveal led by newly-minted Johnnie Walker Brand Ambassador Nico Bolzico.
